Asahi Kasei 's POM resins "TENAC™ / TENAC™ -C ISCC PLUS Certified Grades" have earned ISCC PLUS certification, an international certification system for sustainable products, using the mass balance method, which allocates the amount of biomass-derived products produced in proportion to the amount of biomass raw materials used in the manufacture of products made from both biomass and petrochemical-derived raw materials.

 

Compared to conventional petrochemical-derived grades, these certified grades can reduce the carbon footprint (CFP) by up to approximately 50%. *Our calculations based on data from fiscal year 2022.
