As demand for AI training and inference continues to grow rapidly, data centers are undergoing significant evolution.
While conventional data centers typically had rack power densities of 5–10 kW, AI data centers can exceed 40–132 kW per rack due to the high-density integration of GPUs and AI accelerators. As a result, the focus of data center design is shifting fundamentally from IT equipment alone to integrated power and thermal management.
On the power side, the transition toward higher current, higher voltage, and three-phase power systems is making advanced PDUs, UPSs, ESSs/BBUs, and connectors increasingly important. On the cooling side, in addition to the adoption of large high-speed fans, the introduction of liquid cooling systems that include CDUs and associated pumps is accelerating. XYRON™ 644Z combines low specific gravity, RTI 125°C heat resistance, and UL94 V-0 flame retardancy, meeting the demanding requirements of AI data centers. With a proven track record in profile extrusion, it can also support complex shapes and improved production efficiency.
For power connector applications in AI data centers, XYRON™ 443Z maintains high insulation reliability even in high-voltage and high-humidity environments, thanks to its excellent CTI characteristics of 600 V and hydrolysis resistance.
In addition to low specific gravity and UL94 V-0 flame retardancy, XYRON™ 443Z helps ensure stable dimensional accuracy through low water absorption. With a proven track record in power generation connectors, it is well suited for high-reliability connector components used in AI data center power supply systems.
For intelligent PDU applications in AI data centers, XYRON™ 540Z combines low specific gravity, a heat deflection temperature of 117°C, and UL94 V-0 flame retardancy, enabling stable use in high-voltage environments.
With extensive adoption in distribution boards and terminal blocks, XYRON™ 540Z offers low water absorption and hydrolysis resistance, helping maintain product quality and dimensional accuracy over the long term.

XYRON™ 340Z and G532Z offer advanced UL94 V-0 / 5VA flame retardancy, supporting high safety and reliability even in the event of fire. For server fans and large HVAC fans in AI data centers, XYRON™ suppresses deformation during high-speed rotation by combining low specific gravity with high rigidity. Its low specific gravity reduces centrifugal force, while its high rigidity resists flexing, keeping fan blades dimensionally stable under load.
Because its mechanical properties show low temperature dependence, XYRON™ also supports stable cooling performance in high-temperature environments. In addition, it provides UL94 V-0 / 5VA halogen-free flame retardancy, helping achieve both safety and reliability.
